Insomnia's birthday bash!

Staying awake was worth it. Thanks to eight years of good music. As Insomnia turned all of eight, recently, the band threw a bash at The Basement, Hotel Samilton, on Wednesday evening to celebrate the occasion.
Having cut a huge cake, the band took to the stage. Accompanying them that evening were two other bands, Equi-li-brium and Krishti. Both the new bands played their originals.But the loudest cheer was reserved for the Insomnia as they belted out Proloyer shomoye 2 and Crystal haze, among other numbers. Talking about the event, manager of the band, Rahul Mehra, said, “We provided platforms to upcoming bands on the day. We felt the need to do so as we never got any such opportunity due to the insecurity of other bands.” It was a fun-filled evening that saw fans of Insomnia recalling incidents related to the band.
